22nd May Thats Life Article It took a few months but eventually the agent managed to find an interested party for Emily's story and we recieved a call from Thats Life who want to feature a small story in their magazine. Unfortunatly it's heavily edited and much smaller than intially promised but Emily's story is published late May I've scanned it in here . Its still another vital lump towards a next step and so we are planning a new target for the charity.

Agent Calls Helping Hearts for National Press Representation
I have been approached by an agent who represents peoples stories to the national magazines. We have been talking about seeing if we can get a feature in the mainstream press. This will be a good opportunity to really raise awareness and get some serious money together for the hospital.

Premature Clothes Bought With First Round of Donations
I cashed in the first money that we have raised and now have gone another step closer to fulfilling my first goal for this charity as we have purchased 30 box sets or 300 items of premature clothing for the wards as a thank you for their help.

19th January
Express and Star prints article, immediate response felt
Wolverhampton local paper the Express & Star have printed the story and the response was immediate, we have received calls of support and donations, I haven't replied to everyone yet but I am working my way through so many thanks for everyone who has responded. here's a link to the online version of the article.

Wolverhampton local paper - Express and Star to cover helping hearts story.
Wolverhampton local paper the Express & Star have called to learn more about this charitable drive with regards to featuring a piece in their newspaper. I have given them a phone interview and they will be sending someone around for a photo shoot shortly. This is a great opportunity to get exposure on a local stage and to raise awareness within the Black Country region at the first class work their hospitals do on a day to day basis

Midlands Engineering Firm chooses helping Hearts as their charity for 2007
Kingfisher Industrial - A Midlands Engineering Firm from Droitwich has chosen helping Hearts as its charity of choice for 2007, which means that it will be raising funds through all of this year solely for our cause directly for the Birmingham Children's Charity . We wish to take this opportunity to thank all the Management and Worker of Kingfisher Industrial for this opportunity and wish them all the luck with their Fundraising through the year. We shall watch this space.
